France beat New Zealand in the quarter finals of the Rugby World Cup. It's huge. New Zealand was by far the favorite of the competition. And not many people thought France could actually beat them, especially after a very average first round. But they did it. It felt soooo good.

I was watching the game in an irish bar in San Francisco. At the beginning of the game, i felt very alone. I think there were only a couple of French people in there. By half time, more of us were supporting France. When France took the lead, i couldn't believe it. And then, for the last 10 minutes, when New Zealand was camping on our 5 meter line, i just couldn't watch it. I was so nuts that the waitress came to me to make sure i was ok. I was sweating, my head in my arms, etc... was just crazy.

The final whistle. And i was a liberated man! Now, England next week in Paris...
